This final year of the 1st World War centenaries has been another special year for the Royal British Legion which has seen the re-enactment of the Great Pilgrimage of 1928 with their GP90 event being the biggest membership event for a generation. 1160 Branch Standards were paraded through Ypres on 8th August with 1160 Branch members carrying and laying a wreath at a special Service at the Menim Gate.
Our own Standard Bearer Cde. Jonny Coulter along with Committee Member Cde. Terry Chin (wreath layer) represented the City of Armagh Branch at this monumental event. We thank them both for their commitment and smart turnout as they paraded with all the other Branch representatives from across the whole of Ireland, the UK and further afield
