Understanding the past: shaping the future

Young people across the UK and beyond are aiming to raise one million pounds for the Royal British Legion between 2014-18.

In the process they’ll deepen their understanding of the history of WWI and of its links to the world of today.

How will they do it?

By tackling activities from our A-Z of fundraising ideas. They might be adventurous ideas, they might be enterprising, but they’ll all be fun. In the process they’ll deepen their giving spirit.

You can see the progress that’s being made on our totalizer. Small amounts x lots of events = success!!

Young people are often portrayed negatively in the press. This is a chance to show the real picture and demonstrate how the vast majority are fine young people.
