Welfare & Support

Welcome to the Windlesham Branch of The Royal British Legion

Welfare & Support

The Royal British Legion exists both to remember those who gave their lives in the service of their Country and to support those ex-Forces colleagues, their families and other dependents who need help and support in difficult times.

It is very important to our Branch that those who feel they need practical, emotional or financial support from the Legion are able to contact the relevant person easily and confidentially. With recent changes in the way the Legion handles welfare matters it may no longer be clear to all what do or who to ask for assistance.

If any Member needs the support of the Legion or knows of someone who may require our assistance they should contact one of the following people:

Danuta Allen, Branch Secretary on 01276 502123 or

Peter Hills, Welfare Officer on 01276 479790 or

Mike Sheard, Chairman on 01276 474711 or

Tim Beckh, Vice Chairman on 07780 688955 or

Failing that Members can contact the Royal British Legion Welfare Helpline on 0808 802 8080.

If you think you need help or advice, do not suffer in silence - just ask.
