Armistice 2011

The Private Services

As is our standard practice, the President, Chairman, Standard Bearers and Buglers paid their Tributes around the Torpoint & Pennisula.  They visited Penny Cross War Memorial, the Grave of Private Andrew Kelly (Parachute Regiment) Killed in Action on 6th May 2003 and who is buried at Maker Church and the Grave of Henry Cooper VC RN who is buried at Antony Church.

It was the worst day ever with severe wind and rain and yet the usual suspects held firm their footing to ensure that each Service was performed to the best of ability.
