Saturday, 10 June 2023: The Branch will be selling raffle tickets to raise money towards the Poppy Appeal 2023. The Raffle will be drawn on Saturday, 29 July 2023 at the Thorne Festival.

Saturday 24 June 2023: The City of Doncaster Armed Forces Day in Elmfield Park from 11.00AM to 18.00PM

It is 70 years since the Cease Fire that ended active hostilities of the Korean War on 27 July 1953. The Branch will hold a short service at the War Memorial at 11.00AM on this date.

Saturday, 29 July 2023: Thorne Summer Festival from 08.00AM to 17.00PM

Saturday, 12 August 2023: Branch BBQ. To be held at the home of our Parade Marshall. For further details please contact the Branch Secretary, Iain Wittwer, on ThorneDistrict.Secretary@rbl.community

August 2023 Date to be confirmed: Moorends Gala at the Recreation Ground.

20 October to 11 November 2023: Poppy Appeal 2023

Saturday, 11 November 2023: Short Service at the War Memorial on Armistice Day.

Sunday, 12 November 2023: Remembrance Sunday Service at the War Memorial and Service of Remembrance in St Nicholas Church led by the Reverend Tim Mitchell. Luncheon at the Canal Tavern following the Service.

Thursday, 23 November 2023: Branch AGM to follow the November Branch Meeting from 18.00PM

Monday, 04 December 2023: Branch Christmas Meal at the Canal Tavern.
