On Armed Forces Day, branch members were approached by a lady called Harriet Jarvis-Hoppe from Trimdon Station. She had completed a framed drawing depicting British soldiers in the First World War, set against poppies, the flower of remembrance. The picture is framed and comes with a certificate of authenticity by the artist. Harriet informed us that this picture would have a guide price of £250, therefore we invite bids starting at £250. We hope to hold an auction later in the year (date to be decided)
