Plymouth City Centre Branch

MEMBERSHIP OF THE ROYAL BRITISH LEGION AND THE PLYMOUTH CITY CENTRE BRANCH

Membership gives you the opportunity to get involved, both locally, regionally and nationally, in a wide range of activities, including the chance to attend the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall, as well as special discounts on travel and insurance, and the quarterly 'Legion' national magazine.  You can also get involved in the activities of the branch, including being voted onto the Branch Committee where you can really make a difference within the Legion.

Membership is open to anyone that values the objectives of the Royal British Legion and is not just for those who have served in the Armed Forces. Plymouth City Centre Branch is not attached to a Royal British Legion Club, and seeks to provide its membership with a wide range of social, fundraising and volunteer opportunities outside of a Club environment. Whilst our formal meetings are currently held a the Plymouth Hoe Club, we hold meetings throughout the month in a variety of venues, recognising that many of our potential members would prefer to meet in more family friendly and 'dry' environments.  Some of our members are involved in local walking clubs, breakfast clubs and volunteer as fundraisers for the Poppy Appeal.  All of which may provide new social outlets.

The small annual admin fee added to your Royal British Legion membership for Branch fees is used to: support our membership administration costs, equip and parade our Branch Standard Bearer at local Official and Remembrance events and for Funeral Services and support our engagement in the Community through Information Days, Branch Community Support and Remembrance.

If you would like more information on membership or to join the Royal British Legion please get in touch or follow the link here  Our Branch Code is BR3672
