Sadly, due to the inevitable impact of COVID 19, Fundraise 2020 became impossible for many of those taking part. The Committee have taken the decision that this activity will be rolled over into 2021, and new dates will be advertised as soon as they are confirmed.
Do you have what it takes to raise £2020 in 2020 for the RBL?
The branch are hosting a major fundraising campaign in 2020 asking as many members as possible to committing to raise only £2020 over the course of the year.
You can do anything you want to raise the funds, from physical challenges to bake sales, charity gigs to suppers. Raise a little, raise the total or go way above it, every penny will go to helping the veteran and service community.
The branch will be taking part in some group physical challenges that you can add to your list if you are considering coming along for the ride:
- TrekFest (Brecon Beacons) 9th September 2020 – 25km over the Beacons with the same weight as the SAS selection teams
- The RBL Western Front Trek 23rd-27th September 2020 – 21km a day/3 days across the Western Front in France and Belgium.
- The 5km Poppy Run October 2020
- The London Poppy Quest July 2020 – 10km treasure hunt around London
In addition to this, the Chairman and Secretary will be undertaking a number of individual challenges, and leading some group challenges. The Chairmans' JustGiving page and that of the Secretary gives more details. They welcome you to join him on any challenge.
