Professor David J Rosen, LL B (Hons) CFE

Prof. David Rosen joined the branch earlier this year upon transfer from RBL Monash. A veteran, whose family have served for three generations so far, he is keen to engage with like-minded people to harness our unique skill-sets, (our morals, ethics, integrity, and leadership skills), coupled with experience of those transferrable skills in civvy street, to grow and impress upon a wider audience in order to protect, support, maintain and assist those who serve, and who have served our country, and to cultivate and educate future generations.
David is a full academic professor of professional practice at Brunel University of London, Law School, where he lectures regularly each term. Otherwise, David runs a busy law firm as a solicitor-advocate in Lincoln’s Inn Fields, specialising in chaos, destruction, and damage limitation across a number of legal theatres, including protective security, business crime and investigations, counter-espionage, counter-fraud, and counter-corruption.
David is an active member of the Association of Jewish Ex-Servicemen and Ex-servicewomen as senior standard-bearer. He is most likely found at the Artists Rifles Clubhouse when not with his wife and family and is a keen McQueen competitor with the Mars and Minerva Shooting Club.
Leon Stoneman

Leon Stoneman joined the branch in 2022 and was successfully voted in to sit on the Committee in 2024.
Leon left the Royal Engineers after just 8 years and 8 months in 2020 to move and work in London. He has successfully transitioned his career into the financial industry, managing financial data and integrating technical skills such as writing code and data analysis in his daily role.
Additionally, he is keen to help those who are in their transition period from the military and advise service leavers on their CV writing, career options, networking opportunities and interviews.
In his spare time, Leon is a keen cyclist having previously raced for the men's British Army Road Cycling Team and then a civilian team, training and racing all across the UK and in continental Europe.
Candice Allanson

Candice joined the branch in 2018. She was elected to the role of Secretary at the AGM 2022 and has since stepped down, remaining as part of the Committee.
Candice has worked in the Defence and Security sector for just over 10 years, 7 of which was spent working in Intelligence and Operations within the Ministry of Defence. During this time, Candice worked very closely with serving military from across each of the Services and had the opportunity to work in key operational roles across the Middle East and North Africa.
More recently, Candice has moved into Consulting, where she now specialises in supporting the Defence and Security sector with delivering the capabilities they need to adapt to modern warfare.
Candice also volunteers her time in support London Poppy Day as the Station Commander of London Victoria station. A role which she thoroughly enjoys and has now been in for over 3 years.
