Stuart Scott-Whitmore
Mr Scott-Whitmore joined the branch in 2019 and was elected unopposed to the role of Chairman at the AGM 2022. Prior to this he had been Vice Chairman. His duties include helping set strategic direction for the branch and providing the leadership required for the Branch. In addition, creating opportunities in which to support the Legion and the community.
He has previously served at 28 Engineer Regiment as Sergeant Major to the Headquarters and Support Squadron, 23 Parachute Engineer Regiment as the Regimental Quartermaster (Technical) and as a Troop Staff Sergeant of the Military Aid to the Civil Community (MACA) Troop. He was also a CBRN-E Mitigation Advisor in the UK Technical Response Force for 29 Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Search Group.
Having recently transitioned out of the Army he is now a Project Controls Manager with Turner & Townsend and in his spare time he is also the Regional Emergency Preparedness Resilience and Response Officer for St. John Ambulance (East of England) as a volunteer.
