 The Royal British Legion is recognised as the national custodian of Remembrance.

Remembrance Sunday, the second Sunday in November, is the day traditionally put aside to remember all those who have given their lives for the peace and freedom we enjoy today. This now includes all conflicts since WW2

Remembrance Sunday 10 November 2019 in Münster at Waldfriedhof Lauheide in Münster/Handorf.
The meeting place will be the car park opposite the cemetery. We will meet at 10:00am.
We will move from the car park to the British war graves.
The service will be conducted the Padre Marc Jankowski. We will have a piper in attendance to play the last post, Frank Dirksmeier and the the Münster Branch standard bearer Alex Schlesier. 

We will also have a short service of Remembrance at the German, Polish and Russian war graves including a wreath-laying ceremony. Like the years before.

After the services we invite all persons to the Branch in Lützow Kaserne, Lützow Str. 1A, 48157 for hot pea soup and a curry. A small donation of 7,50€ per person. children under 10 will be 5€. Any donations to the Poppy Appeal will be appreciated. Passes to the camp will be available at Lauheide car park. 

After so many people turned up last year. We would like to see you all again this year to show your respect to the fallen. Don't forget to tell your family and friends
