Rydal Court Donation 2013

The Branch Chairman, Mrs Maree Brown, and Committee Member, Mrs Sylvia Nicholson, attended a Coffee Morning arranged by the Residents and Staff of Rydal Court in Morecambe. The proceeds from this event were donated to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal and a cheque for £500.00 was presented to the Branch Chairman.

Car Poppies with a difference

Branch Deputy Standard Bearer, Mr James Brown, took some Car Poppies with him to the latest round of Rebel Racing in Birmingham on 9th November and asked the competitors to display them on their cars during the race meeting and raised a total of £45.00 for the Poppy Appeal.
