Armed Forces Day 2015

Due to popular demand, the Branch Chairman, Mrs Maree Brown, took on the organisation of an Armed Forces Day Parade & Drumhead Service on Sunday 28th June 2015.

The Parade formed up at the Clock Tower on Morecambe Promenade opposite the Pier Hotel and the Parade moved off at 12-00pm.

Due to the inclement weather, the Drumhead Service, conducted by the Branch Chaplain, Fr Tom Davies was held in the Winter Gardens Theatre.

Various local Branches of Ex-Service Associations were represented at the Parade and Drumhead Service and were supported by members of the general public.
