30th June 2017 - 3rd Battle of Ypres Commemoration known as Passchendaele  -  The Battle of Passchendaele was commemorated by the Marlow WWI Association on tha Causeway with a display of WWI equipment, World War Trench songs and details of men fro Marlow who fell during the battle.

24th June 2017 - Armed Forces Day - A short ceremony at the War Memorial followed conducted by John Bustin.  It was followed by an event organised by the Legion Club.

23rd June 2017 - Golf Day - The "Archie Beaty Memorial Shield" was competed for for the 4th time at a Golf Day at Wycombe Heights organised by the Marlow RBL Club in memory of Archie Beaty (the Scots Guards Association (South) Pipe Band's Drum Major who tragically died at the 2013 Remembrance Day Parade. 

13th November 2016 - Remembrance Sunday - The Remembrance ceremony was held at the War Memorial all attendees were in place by 10:45 at the Causeway.  Participants in the Parade assembled at the Royal British Legion at Station Approach for the march to the Causeway.  After the Service the parade marched up the High Street to Market Square then down the High Street where the salute was taken by the Lord Lieutenant for Buckinghamshire Sir Henry Aubrery-Fletcher. 

11th November 2016 - Armistice Day - A ceremony was held at the War Memorial to observe the Two Minutes Silence a 11 o'clock. Schooldchildren from Spinfield School attended and some pupils laid 100th anniversary crosses for commemorate individuals from MArlow who died on the 11th November 1916.

25th June 2016 - Armed Forces Day - This year the event ws marked in Higginson Park.  The traditional cermony around the war memorial was held at 11:00 therafter the event was held in Higginson Park, with stands fro 871 (Marlow) Sqn Royal Logistic Corps, the Air Cadets and the Sea Cadet, The RBL Riders Branch.  Musical entertainment, BBQ and drinks ran through the day.  The event was mastermindd by the RBL Club Marlow.

24th June 2016 - Golf Day - The "Archie Beaty Memorial Shield" was competed at a Golf Day organised by the Marlow RBL Club.  This year there was a change of venue to Wycombe Heights, the event is held in memory of Archie Beaty (the Scots Guards Association (South) Pipe Band's Drum Major who tragically died at the 2013 Remembrance Day Parade. The proceeds from the day going  to the Poppy Appeal

 15th August 2015 - VJ Day Commemoration - VJ Day, the end of the Second World War and the cesation of hostilities in the Far East was commemorated on the Causeway.  A short service was conducted by Rev Sarah Fitzgerald, wreaths were laid by the Town Mayor, Cllr Bob Johnson and the Branch Chairman.  An address was given my Mr Martin Blunkell.  Afterwards there was illustrated panels on the far East war as well as a video display.

12th July 2015 - Marlow Trenches WWI Commemoration - In conjunction with Marlow Remebers WWI Association the centenary of the training trenches will be commemorated with a service and activities by Youth Organisations

 27th June 2015 - Armed Forces Day -  A short ceremony at the War Memorial followed by a short service in All Saints Church.  In conjunction with the RBL Club a families day will follow.

 8th May 2015 - VE Day - the 70th Anniversary of VE Day was commemorated in the RBL Club 

7th May 2015 - 100th Anniversary of the Sinking of RMS Lusitania - Along with the Marlow Society and Marlow Remebers WWI Association a ceremony was held at the "Froham Memorial" on the Causeway to mark the sinking of the Lusitania and the death of Charles Frohman.

25th October 2014 - Poppy Launch - Marlow Town Mayor councillor Suzanne Brown has kindly agreed to launch the Town's Poppy Appeal this year.  The launch will be conducted from the Royal British Legion in Station Approach.  The Reserve Squadron and the Cadet Organisations will be represented.

24th October 2014 - Presentations - A Presentation event was held to recognise The RBL Club Ltd and XT Brewing for their outstanding contributions to the Poppy Appeal.  A County Certificate of Appreciation was awarded to XT Brewing by the County President, Lt Col Simon Wilkinson TD DL.  This was followed by a similar Certificate of Appreciation being awarded to the Chairmann of the RBL Cub Marlow Ltd, Mr Lee Wiltshire, by the RBL County Chairman, Mr Mike Barry.  The County Vice Chairman, Mr David Jonson, The County Training Officer, Mr Colin Doyle along with the Marlow Branch Officers were also present.

11th October 2014 - Poppy Dance - The Branch held its Annual Popy Dance at the Royal British Legion Club at Station Approach on the 11th OCTOBER.  A Raffle and Silent Auction were held.  Net proceeds for the evening going to the Poppy Appeal.

4th August 2014 - LIGHTS OUT on the Causeway

"The lamps are going out all over Europe, we shall not see them lit again in our lifetime".  Sir Edward Grey - British Foreigh Secretary - uttered these words on the eve of Britain officially entered the First World War. On the statement's 100th anniversary millions of individuals, households and companies are invited to join together in a national moment of reflection.   In conjunction with Marlow Town Council a commemorative event was held on the Causeway by  the War memorial with a short history being given followed by a mix of prayers and contemporaneous poems and ending with a reflective Silence.

28th June 2014 - Armed Forces Day -  Firstly the Branch would like to welcome 871 Squadron Royal Logistic Corps to Marlow, they are the new occupanys of the the Army Reserve Centre at Old Horns Lane Booker.  The Armed Forces Day was celebrated on the Causeway at Marlow and at the RBL Club.  The day started with membrers and civic dignatories meeting members of 871 Sqn RLC.  The Mayor, the Officer Commanding and Sergeant Major of 871 Sqn and the Branch Chairman laid wreaths at theWar Memorial.  The ceremony was then followed by a short service at All Saints Church which was conducted by Mr John Bustin.  

The RBL Club then laid on entertainment throughout the rest of the day.  In the evening plaques were installed in the Club to honour the memory of two men who have meant a lot to both the Branch and the Club.  The first to Ernie Cole by unveiled by Vera Cole and the second to Archie Beaty was unveiled by the Beaty family.  An emotional part of the evening.  Overall a successful day.

27th June 2014 - Golf Day - The RBL Club held a Golf Day at Flackwell Heath Golf Club in memory of Archie Beaty (the Scots Guards Association (South) Pipe Band's Drum Major who tragically died at last year's Remembrance Day Parade.  It was an excellent event with the winning Team of Ms Suzanne Brown, Mr Lance Slater and Mr Mike Jones winning the "Archie Beaty Memorial Shield".  An auction and raffle were organised by the Branch and the proceeds went to the Poppy Appeal.  Many thanks to all those that sponsored prizes.  The Club will be holding the event on Friday 26th June 2015.
