Littleport

The Royal British Legion is recognised as the national custodian of Remembrance.

Remembrance Sunday, the second Sunday in November, is the day traditionally put aside to remember all those who have given their lives for the peace and freedom we enjoy today.

We would like to thank the people of Littleport for their fantastic support on Armistice Day and at the Remembrance Parade and Church service at St Georges.

The schools, the Scouts and Guides Associations, the Band; who did an amazing job on the parade and playing the hymns at St Georges, the bikers who led the parade and the firemen who did road duty on the 11 November and took on the job of escorting the Standard on the 13 November - and others too numerous to mention, but still appreciated...

The turnout on both occasions was incredible. Thank you.

We would not be able to do this without you all.
