Poppy Appeal 2018

What an outstanding year its been for our local Poppy Appeal over £16,000 was raised locally of which our Poppy Stall in Morrison's,manned by our volunteers, raised almost £10,500!!

Thank you to all those who generously supported us this year, your donations will be put to good use helping Veterans & their families

 Poppy Appeal 2017

This year was another successful poppy appeal in Morrisons supermarket where we were proudly helped for the first time by Ahmadyiyya Muslim Youth Association (Spen Valley) in helping us to raise funds. They also very kindly donated & presented us with a cheque for £100

Thanks to the ladies of Morrisons Accounts for totalling up our daily collection tins.

The total we raised this year is £8,200 which is on par with last years total as we lost a weekend collection this time due to time constraints.

To all the helpers old and new a Huge Thank You!! And of course not forgetting our community of Heckmondwike for giving so generously.

Our tins from around the local Schools, Pubs, Shops & Businesses are still being counted so look out for an update soon

Poppy Appeal 2016

A Huge Thank You to all the people of Heckmondwike who so generously donated to this years appeal in Morrisons Supermarket, Heckmondwike.

It was yet again a record breaking year with an amount collected of over £9258.84 as well as more from the collection tins we had in schools and businesses around Heckmondwike. In total we raised over £16,000 in 2016 for the Poppy Appeal

Thanks to the Management & staff of Morrisons for once again making us feel welcome and supporting us.

2015 Poppy Appeal

Our Heckmondwike Branch has raised just over £14,300 in total this year which is a record!. We've topped the £11,500.00 raised in 2014. A huge increase in donations at Morrisons Supermarket and from the local schools has helped boost our 2015 branch total.

So well done everybody, and a big Thank You to all the people of Heckmondwike and local businesses who have been so generous again.  

Keep a look out for the Poppy Appeal launch in October 2016 and come meet, donate and support our volunteers who will be manning our stand in Morrisons, Heckmondwike.
