The Royal British Legion is recognised as the national custodian of Remembrance.

Remembrance Sunday, the second Sunday in November, is the day traditionally put aside to remember all those who have given their lives for the peace and freedom we enjoy today.

We organise an extensive parade from outside the Hawkhurst Club. Lead by a Band, we march to the Church .  After the Church service march back to the Branch.                            A short service at the War Memorial when tributes will be laid to honour the fallen.

The Band play in the club and refreshments are served.
