The next Wattisham Flying Station Visitors Day will be held on Wed 18 May 16. The idea, as in previous years, is to invite groups (Regtl Associations, Civilian Organisations, Council Employees, Veterans, Cadets, Scouts, School Children, Spotters, etc) who wish to see our site. The venue will be in one of the hangars, where visitors will be briefed and have the opportunity to look at an AH Apache, historical aircraft, museum exhibits, small arms display etc; refreshments will be available.
All bookings will be coordinated by Stn HQ with 3 Regt AAC providing administrative support. The event will involve 2 x visit sessions, between 1330 to 1600 hrs and 1800 to 2030 hrs and all bookings are to be made to Clare Morrin - Stn Chief Clerk, Stn HQ on 01449 728212 Email: AHFHQ-ChiefClerk@mod.uk
The intent is to provide one main event where visitors can have a look at what we do and some of our equipment, rather than tie down units with too many individual visits.
