Thousands of Australian and New Zealand forces who died during the First World War’s disastrous Gallipoli campaign have been commemorated on the centenary of the offensive in Ipswich.

Twelve members of the branch took part in the parade led by Pipers from the Ipswich Piping Society from the Town Hall in the Cornhill to St Mary-le-Tower Church in the town centre on Sunday afternoon.

After the service the lads and ladies joined in lunch togeather at the Old Rep across the road.
