It's been a very proud moment today (16th July 2016) within the branch.

As part part of our Great War commemorations we are now officially affiliated to Haughley Pre School And Haughley Youth Football club. Today we celebrated this great achievement by inviting both youth groups to a BBQ and 'fun afternoon' which included a bouncy castle, Royal British Legion gifts and children's races.

After 9 successful years of being affiliated to the village scout group it was just a natural progression. The local scout group joined us in our celebrations while helping out with the afternoon BBQ.

Now we are affiliated we can make our well established friendship even better by helping each other and more importantly ensuring the memory of the fallen from Haughley will never be forgotten.

Thank you to everybody who attended, you made it what it was.
