Poppy Appeal 2021/2022

As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic the Hannover Branch has adapted the way we get together and fundraise. Building on the hybrid meetings idea we decided that this was a good platform to hold events such as Bingo evenings, cooking courses and even a round of Family Fortunes, something for everyone! With the easement of the Covid restrictions meant we could could go out and do more traditional fundraising most notably taking the RBL Stand across Germany and partaking in Highland Games events from Canstein and Bad Fallingbostel all the way up to Butjarding. As of writing our Very own Alan Webb performed Frank Sinatras greatest hits raising €400 for this years Poppy Appeal! Not to go unoticed Kez also raised over €700 by completing the Walk 100 Miles in April, wind and rain did not deter him in raising such a fantastic amount.

This year we are looking at going over the €4000 mark far surpassing 2020/2021 total of €2700
