The Poppy Appeal in Greens Norton
A HEARTFELT THANK YOU!
As Honorary Poppy Appeal Organiser for the Village I want to thank
everyone who gave towards the 2012 Appeal. We raised
the sum of £2884.19 which has been sent off to the
Royal British Poppy Appeal and I am sure will be well spent on
supporting those affected by wars and conflicts.
We are very lucky in this village to have the only RBL
branch with its own building and also lucky to still have village
shops and services. A special thanks to them for their
support by having a Poppy Appeal collection box and for donating
towards events which the RBL organise for the Appeal.

Remembrance Sunday, the second Sunday in November, is the day
traditionally put aside to remember all those who have given their
lives for the peace and freedom we enjoy today.
