There are many generous people and organisations in our Branch area who have over the years supported the work of the Royal British Legion and the Poppy Appeal. We thank you all for your previous support and continuing support.
Apart from the traditional November Poppy Appeal we are sometimes asked how else can donations be sent to our Branch or the Poppy Appeal outside of the traditional period. Sometimes we receive donations from people that have left them in their will or testament. We can in fact collect all year round for both the Branch and the Poppy Appeal. We are able to supply all year round Poppy boxes to establishments who wish to recieve them.
For donations for our Branch funds please contact Stella Thornett on 01785 822275
For donations for the Poppy Appeal (Including All year round Poppy boxes) please contact Bob Lacey on 01785 823438
Any person or organisation who wish to raise any monies for The Royal British Legion can feel free to contact Bob Lacey on 01785 823438, Thank you.
When we lose a loved one, knowing that friends remember them fondly is a great comfort at a time of loss. Asking friends and family to donate to The Royal British Legion means your loved one's memory will live on, not only in the hearts of those who knew them, but in the hearts of all the ex-Service men and women who benefit from your kindness.
Traditionally, flowers have been an expression of affection and respect. Beautiful as they are though, wreaths and bouquets will not last forever. But by choosing to remember and celebrate a life with a gift to The Royal British Legion you can make a wonderful gesture that could make a difference for many years to come.
We offer a number of ways for your loved one to be remembered from a simple In Memoriam donation to a personalised tribute website.
Never Forget Tribute Funds
Through the creation of a tribute fund you can keep the memory alive of someone who was very special to you via a permanent tribute page on our specialist website.
Your efforts will keep them alive in people's memory and with your help we can provide care and hope to those who have bravely fought to serve our country.
Find out more about our tribute funds here.
Never Forget in-memoriam donations
Friends and family can express their affection and respect by making a gift in lieu of flowers. As well as honouring someone special, you will also be helping so many of our bravest ex-Service men and women who are now in need.

Never Forget collection envelopes
Using collection envelopes to pay tribute to a loved one is a very unique and special way to remember them. By giving friends and family the opportunity to make such a special gift allows their memory to be honoured.
Often you are also supporting a cause which was very important to them. This personal tribute to a loved one's life is also a salute to Service people past and present who are in need. Any donations we receive allow us to care for more elderly veterans and provide greater rehabilitation care for today's injured heroes.
Collection envelopes are available to help make everything as straightforward as possible - especially at such a difficult time. Your family and friends can either hand the envelopes back to you or they can send them directly to us, our freepost address is printed on the envelope and we will send a thank you letter to acknowledge all the gifts received in your loved one's memory.
To request Never Forget Collection envelopes please call us on 020 3207 2255 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Your loved ones details will be entered into The Royal British Legion's Never Forget Book of Remembrance which is on permanent display at our Head Office. Visitors are very welcome to come and visit the Book.
Our address and office hours to view the Book are:

Consider including us in your Will or funeral preparations

Gifts in Celebration
If you have a birthday, anniversary, wedding or any other special event coming up, why not use your special occasion to support the vital welfare work of The Royal British Legion?
Many supporters choose to ask friends and family for donations to support our work rather than receiving a gift themselves. Such kind and thoughtful gifts help the Legion to support the many ex-Service men and women who so dearly need our help.
We have special Gifts In Celebration envelopes that we can send you to pass to your friends and family. If you would like to request some special envelopes or you'd like to find out more please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or you can call us on 020 3207 2255.
We'll send a thank-you letter in response to every gift we receive.
Other ways to remember
Each year in the lead up to Remembrance Day, you are invited to leave messages of Remembrance on Little Remembrance Crosses to be planted in our Fields of Remembrance or on poppies to be planted in our Flanders' Field of Poppies.
Or you can plant a virtual poppy anywhere in the world in memory of your loved one.
