Welfare is one of the main aims of the Legion and as a branch we aim to push welfare to the forefront of our strategy.
Our branch members are the eyes and ears of the community and are best placed to keep us informed when people are in need of assistance. It is vitally important that the message gets through so don't think someone else has picked it up, act yourself.
Branch Welfare Officer
Our Welfare team is here to help. They are part of the Legion's extensive Poppy Support services. If you are serving, have served or are the dependent or carer of someone who has served in the UK's Armed Forces, then you are eligible for our help.
They can offer financial aid in an urgent crisis, help homeless ex-Service people get back on their feet, advise on compensation claims, offer careers advice for those looking to make a fresh start after leaving the Forces, arrange home or hospital visits and much more.
For all welfare matters, please call the Royal British Legion National Contact Center: 0808 802 8080
