Fulbourn & Teversham Branch

90th Anniversary Celebrations

Over 200 people gathered to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Fulbourn & Teversham Branch of The Royal British Legion and Fulbourn Womens Institute on 11 June 2011. The celebrations were opened by Mrs Dulcie Cornwell who is the branch's oldest member and recently turned 100.

The Peterborough Highland Pipe Band played the Branch standard from the Six Bells public house to Fulbourn Manor where they performed traditional highland pipe music and dance by kind permission of Mr and Mrs Richard Townley. Local singer Luan Hockley provided a range of songs including wartime favourites and members of the Fulbourn WI sang the hymn Jerusalem.
