2017

Wed 19 April will be the Branch Spring Social Function, at The Angel, including a guest singer, buffet and raffle. Proceeds will go to the Great Pilgrimage 2018

  • Sun 19 Feb: “Mi Amigo” Remembrance Parade. 2PM St Augustine's Church, Brocco Bank, Sheffield S11 8QA

  • Sun 7 May: “HMS Sheffield” Remembrance Parade, Sheffield Cathedral. Timimgs to follow

  • Sat 17 Jun: Sheffield Armed Forces and Veterans' Day. Parade 11:30 am, Norfolk Row.

  • Sat 24 June: National Armed Forces and Veterans' Day

  • Sat 28 Oct: Poppy Sales begins

  • Sat 11 Nov: Armistice Day Parade – RBL Frecheville Branch, Crystal Peaks, 11am. Form at “Domo” Luggage Shop, 10:30

  • Sun 12 Nov: Remembrance Sunday Service, Barkers Pool 11am. Form at rear of City Hall at 10:30am.

 

2016

Wed 17 Feb 2016: Pie & Peas Supper To celebrate the superb effort put in during the Poppy Sales period, the branch will hold a Pie & Peas Supper at The Angel, Woodhouse in February. All members and their guests are cordially invited. 7PM start.

Although the Supper had to move locations, we had a lovely evening at The Sherborne, and raised £140 for Amy's House, a local charity. Thanks everyone

18 June - Sheffield Armed Forces and Veterans' Day - Parade 11am at Norfolk Row - Festivities in Peace Gardens until 4PM 

25 June - Yorkshire Regiment Freedom Parade - City Centre (Details to follow)

1 July - Battle of The Somme Commemoration - Weston Park 11am

1 July - Battle of The Somme Commemoration Service - Sheffield Cathedral (Timings to follow)

3 July - Centenary Service of Battle of The Somme - Sheffield Cathedral (Timings to follow)

3 September - VC Event commemorating 100 years anniversary of VC awarded to Capt William Allen RAMC - Barkers Pool  (Timings to follow)

18 September - September 18th . RAFA Battle of Britain & Arnhem Remembrance Service. Barkers Pool and Cathedral (Timings to follow)

11 November – Armistice Day Parade – RBL Frecheville Branch, Crystal Peaks, 11am

13 November - Remembrance Sunday Service - Barkers Pool 11am
