The Royal British Legion was formed to help the widows and dependents of the injured from the First World War.

Datchet Legion branch was formed on 14th March 1924. 

There are currently 90 men and women, both ex-Service and civilian, who make up the membership of the branch.
                                              
The group meets on the first Sunday of each month at 11am in the Royal Stag public house on the Village Green.
