 World War Two American Bomber Memorial Appeal  

The Crowborough Branch are attempting to raise £3000 for a memorial to remember the crew of an American bomber that crashed in Crowborough on the 26th of January 1944. The B26B Maurauder bomber named "Hell's Belle" came down on farmland behind The Bricklayers Arms in Whitehill Road.

 St. Michael and All Angels Church, Jarvs Brook.


 2.00 pm Parade - Muster at the Croft Road car park (Waitrose).

2.30 pm - Wreath Laying ceremony at the War Memorial,

Chapel Green, Crowborough.

3.00 pm - Service of Commemoration

 All Saints Church, Chapel Green, Crowborough.
