There are many ways in which you can support The Royal British Legion, whether your a Branch member, or a volunteer at poppy appeal or maybe you are proud to where a poppy and donate to the cause. In any of these cases we couldn't do it without your help, so thanks!
There is another way in which we can be assisted and that is from local businesses. With their help we can make our events bigger and better and also build community friendships. Below are some of the companies/ businesses that have given us ongoing support and what they have done for us.

Rimini's Coffee Shop.
On our 90th Anniversary (2011) Riminis Coffee Lounge help us fundraise in Crewe town centre by donating 10% of any transaction (when using a voucher) to the Branch. We had a wonderful day and it's a lovely place to visit for lunch or a quick coffee.

The Asda store in Crewe have been supporting the Legion in Crewe for years. Offering us one of our most lucritive fundraising sites. They have also donated prizes for the branch to raffle off including a childs bike, and a flat screen TV!

Morrissons Superstore in Crewe is another of our big supporters. They, like Asda are always willing to provide us with fundraising oppurtunities and frequently donate raffle prizes to our cause.

Virgin Trains Crewe.
Virgin Trains Crewe, are another big supporter of the Branch. They allow us to fundraise on the train station during poppy appeal times, or when an event is taking place. They respect remembrance and moved, and restored the station War Memorial and gave it pride of place in the First Class Lounge (the public are free to view the memorial anytime, just ask a member of Virgin Staff).
They have also printed remembrance order of service leaflets free of charge which really helps out the Legion Branches. So thank you to Sheila Breeze, and the previous manager Sam Dixon, and all the station staff at Crewe.

Adam from Damien Adam Hair design is helping us kick off the 2012 Poppy Appeal by giving our PR Officer Stephen Kay a novel haircut of a Poppy free of charge. Stephen has long, long hair but is going to sacrifice his locks to promote of the Poppy Appeal in Crewe.

Shuker's Butchers located at the indoor market Crewe have supported us no endsince opening the EC Pop-in Centre.
They have a wide selection of meats all sourced from known farms. Pop down and see Andy and his staff for a friendly service. It will help support our local market too.

We are always looking for assistance so that the Branch can get out and fundraise and continue the fantasic work of the Legion. Do you display a poppy box for the Legion at you work or bussiness? Are you able to contribute to the Legion? Anything helps no matter how small- from donating some money so that we can buy a pitch at some local event, to supporting us by way of of service that your business offers i.e printing leaflets.
