Welcome to the Classic Vehicles Branch of The Royal British Legion

About the Royal British Legion

We provide financial, social and emotional care and support to all members of the British Armed Forces - past and present and their families. The Legion safeguards the Military Covenant between the nation and its Armed Forces and is best known for the annual Poppy Appeal and its emblem the red poppy.

Founded in 1921, the Legion is not just about those who fought in the World Wars of the last century, but also about those involved in the many conflicts since 1945 and those still fighting for the freedom we enjoy today.

Visit www.britishlegion.org.uk for details of our national initiatives.

Remembrance

The Royal British Legion is recognised as the national custodian of Remembrance.

Remembrance Sunday, the second Sunday in November, is traditionally put aside to remember all those who have given their lives for the peace and freedom we enjoy today.

About our Branch

Our Branch is part of the RBL National Branches District of the Royal British Legion. We have members throughout the British Isles, as well as in the USA, Australia, Cyprus, and many other countries worldwide.

Across the globe, we have over 600 members and counting, each with a love of all types of classic vehicles and a wish to support The Royal British Legion by promoting its work helping past and present members of the Armed Forces.

Our support also includes raising funds for the RBL's Annual Poppy Appeal at classic vehicle events throughout the year.
