Remembrance Events

Welcome to the Cinderford Branch of The Royal British Legion

The Royal British Legion is recognised as the national custodian of Remembrance.

Remembrance Sunday, the second Sunday in November, is the day traditionally put aside to remember all those who have given their lives for the peace and freedom we enjoy today.

This year, Remembrance Sunday will be the 13th November 2016 where the branch will be participating in a service & parade in Cinderford town centre joined by the community.

There will also be a short service taking place at Cinderford triangle at 11am on the 11th November 2016 where there will be a two minute silence and will be attended by branch members.

Not only will we remember those who have given their lives, but we will also share memories & photos of families, friends and colleagues of branch members and members of the Armed Forces past and present.

If anyone has any memories or stories they wish to share please send them to our email address
