The Royal British Legion is recognised as the national custodian of Remembrance.
Remembrance Sunday, the second Sunday in November, is the day traditionally put aside to remember all those who have given their lives for the peace and freedom we enjoy today.
As well as attending Remembrance Sunday at the British Embassy in Bangkok every year we also this year organised the first Remembrabce Day Service at the River Kwai War Graves (Kanchanaburi).
We were honoured in this our first year as the Custodians of this Service not only to have several hindred people attending from Thailand but also a group of POW Veterans attending with the FEPOW Association and Remembrance Travel.
You will laso see in the photos below that we also had a number of our International Schools not only attending but helping with the Logistics of the Service, whilst on the subject of Schools we also had the Vajivarudh College Pipe Band on parade.
