This panel was first displayed in the old War Memorial Hall, once the village reading rooms and now a private house. It was moved to the Community Hall and re-dedicated on the opening of the new facility. The War Memorial in the nearby churchyard, no 58 in this series, commemorates those from Rockcliffe and Cargo who did not return to their families. It bears the names of casualties of both the Great War and WW2. An additional narrative tells of each in greater detail.
