"The Steps" in Chippy - i.e. the medieval market stone (once the market cross), which marked the site of a market in times gone by.
above - church of St.Peter & St. Paul, within which are the dedicated memorials to Chipping Warden's fallen. Also above is a photo of the bus shelter built by local funding as a benefit to the village in the 1950's, and its plaque remembering those who fell in the Second World War.
