An unknown 2nd World War British Soldier was laid to rest at Delivrande War Cemetery Normandy at 1100hrs Wednesday 27th August 2014.

The service was conducted by The Reverend Mike Goodison CF. Chaplin 1st Battalion Duke of Lancaster's Regiment.  The Scripture reading was by Major Stephen Wheatley and the Exhortation by Rodney Curtis Chairman of the Royal British Legion Central Brittany.

The Union Flag was carried by Branch member Yves le Cuziat MBE and the Branch Standard carried by Branch member Joel Binet.
