Bristol is the location of the SW Midlands Area Office which is situated above the newly opened ‘Pop In’ Advice and Information Centre, located in the heart of the City Centre from which the Area team will provide administrative support to the Outreach workers, volunteers and members in Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Herefordshire support.

The ‘Pop In’ centre is one of the 16 brand new highly visible locations that will be opening in other major cities across the UK, each Centre will offer a welcoming space for service personnel and veterans to get practical help and advice, and also allow members of the public to find out more about the wide range of services and community activities provided by the Legion.

There will also be the opportunity for partner organisations, such as Combat Stress, the Regular Forces Employment Association and War Pensions Tribunal Advice Team to operate from each location, and through this collaborative approach we aim to provide a more seamless beneficiary service.

Have signed up to the Community Covenant, which will hopefully ensure that those within the service community will not be dis advantaged through their military service, and will be able to access  services within their local area.
