The Royal British Legion is recognised as the national custodian of Remembrance.

Remembrance Sunday, the second Sunday in November, is the day traditionally put aside to remember all those who have given their lives for the peace and freedom we enjoy today.

The 11th of November

Every year we should remember 

The 11th of November

Soldiers died in the fields

Their Bravery should be revealed

I can't believe they died for me

For lots of Peace and unity

Poppies that are very red

Respect from the past for the days ahead

Now that you know their story

We can now live in glory

Thank you for those who decided

To go to war 100 years ago
