The parade mustered in Oakmede Carpark at 9.25am and marched at 9.40am under the supervision of Parade Marshal Staff Sergeant Geraint Davies, RMP. The service and Act of Remembrance followed at All Saints' Church.

Children and young people of the Scouts, Cub Scouts, Guides and Brownies joined in Reverend Luke Taylor's commemoration of the Binfield fallen, including an applauded rendition in song of Lt. Colonel John MacRae's poem In Flanders Fields.

Wreaths were laid beneath All Saints' Binfield memorial scroll.

The Armistice Day Service of Remembrance at the War Memorial, Saint Mark's Church, started 10.45am and included 2 minutes silence at 11.00am, with military-style maroons fired to mark the moment.

In the absence of clergy deputising for the Rector, Rev Luke Taylor, who was on annual leave, the proceedings were ably led by Ms Karen Hatt, chairperson of the Binfield branch of the Royal British Legion. The gathering of more than 100 participants included villagers and children from Meadow Vale and All Saints' Schools whose excellent poetry and readings from historic conflicts were remarked upon as appreciated contributions.

Wreaths were laid by Ms Hatt; Mr Michael Graves, Binfield RBL treasurer; Mrs Shelagh Pile, President of the Bracknell Royal Naval Association branch and past Borough Mayor and Binfield Parish Councillor David Horton.

Standards were paraded by the Royal Naval Association, the Royal British Legion and the Royal Airforces Association, and refreshments were served by Mr Alexander and Mrs Julie Lloyd.
