Remembrance

Welcome to the Berkhamsted, Tring and District Branch of The Royal British Legion

The Royal British Legion is recognised as the national custodian of Remembrance.

Remembrance Sunday, the second Sunday in November, is the day traditionally put aside to remember all those who have given their lives for the peace and freedom we enjoy today.

This year (2018) the annual Berkhamsted parade to St Peters Church will take place on Armistice Day, Sunday 11 November and will form up to march off at 2:30pm from the car park in Lower Kings Road.

A short ceremony at the St Peters War Memorial will include a reading of all the names of the fallen of World War One and will begin at 2:45pm, followed by a full Remembrance service inside the church.
