Below is a list of dates for your diary on what's happening in the Abbotsbury and Portesham Branch of The Royal British Legion.

Our next event is held in Portesham Village Hall on saturday 12 November 2016 this is our annual village cafe held to raise money for the RBL Poppy Appeal.

The next day Sunday the 13 November is Remembrance Sunday.  This years service will be held in Portesham as it was held in Abbotsbury last year. There will be a wreath laying at the Abbotsbury War Memorial before the main service and wreath laying in Portesham.

Our branches AGM will be held in Portesham Village hall on Thursday 17 November 2016 beginning at 1930 all are welcome all there will be refreshment after the meeting.

At the meeting we are hoping to elect some more members onto the Committee.

On the 23 November members of the Branch are going on a Christmas shopping trip to Winchester . Point of contact is Des Baker

Saturday 11 December Des Baker has arranged for a trip to the Lighthouse centre for Arts in Poole to watch and listen to the RAF Band.

The next Branch Committe meeting will be on the 26 January 2017 in Portesham Village Hall.
